Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 10, 2025   |   Last Updated: March 10, 2025   |   Jurisdiction: California (CCPA / CPRA)

Plain English first: This site does not track you. There are no cookies, analytics, ad pixels, or session recorders of any kind on aiso.dog. The only external connections this site makes are a mailto link (which opens your own email client) and links to Square, a third-party payment platform, for purchasing services. What happens on Square is governed by Square's privacy policy, not ours.

Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to aiso.dog (the "Site"), operated by AISOdog, a boutique AI search optimization consultancy ("we," "us," or "our"). It applies to visitors located anywhere, with particular attention to the rights afforded to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendment, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

What Data This Site Collects

Genuinely very little. The table below covers every category of personal information that could touch this site and states honestly what happens.

Category Collected by aiso.dog? Notes
Cookies None No cookies of any kind are set. No consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to.
Analytics / Tracking None No analytics platform (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, etc.) is installed.
Advertising Pixels None No ad networks, retargeting pixels, or conversion trackers are present.
Server / Access Logs Possible via hosting Web hosts typically log IP addresses and page requests at the server level. We do not access, analyze, or retain these logs beyond what our hosting provider requires for infrastructure integrity.
Email (mailto link) Only what you send Clicking the email link opens your own email client. No information is transmitted to us until you choose to send a message. We retain email correspondence for business communication purposes only.
Payment / Purchase Data Handled by Square Purchases are processed through Square, Inc. When you click a purchase link, you leave aiso.dog and enter Square's platform. We receive only the transaction confirmation necessary to fulfill services. Square's privacy policy governs all payment data.

How We Use What We Receive

If you email us, we use that correspondence to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to provide the services you have contracted for. We do not add email addresses to marketing lists without explicit opt-in. We do not sell, rent, or trade contact information under any circumstances.

Transaction confirmations received from Square are used solely to confirm service delivery. They are retained as standard business records for the period required by applicable law and then deleted.

Third-Party Services This Site Links To

Two external services are accessible from this site. Neither is embedded, loaded, or executed on aiso.dog pages. They are linked.

Your email client (mailto). The contact link invokes your device's default mail application. No information leaves your device until you choose to send. Your email provider's privacy policy governs what happens to that message in transit and storage.

Square, Inc. Purchase links direct you to Square-hosted pages for payment processing. Square is a separate controller of your payment and identity data. Review Square's privacy policy at squareup.com/legal/privacy before completing a transaction.

We do not receive, store, or process credit card numbers, bank account details, or payment credentials of any kind.

Your Rights Under California Law

California residents have specific rights under CCPA and CPRA. We respect those rights. Because we collect minimal personal information, exercising most of them will return a short answer. That does not diminish the right.

Right to Know You may request a description of what personal information we hold about you, the categories of sources, and the purposes for which it is used.
Right to Delete You may request deletion of personal information we hold. We will comply unless retention is required by law or necessary to complete a transaction you requested.
Right to Correct You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing We do not sell or share personal information. There is nothing to opt out of. We will confirm this in writing upon request.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA.
Right to Non-Discrimination Exercising any privacy right will not affect your ability to use our services or the pricing you receive.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in the section below. We will respond within 45 days of a verified request. If we need more time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you of the extension and the reason.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We may require written proof of authorization before processing an agent-submitted request.

How Long We Keep Information

Email correspondence is retained for as long as the business relationship is active and for a reasonable period thereafter (typically two years) in case of service disputes. Correspondence unrelated to a service engagement is deleted within 90 days of resolution.

Transaction records from Square are retained as required by California and federal tax law, generally seven years.

Server access logs maintained by our hosting provider are subject to that provider's retention schedule, which is typically 30 to 90 days. We have no control over this retention period.

Children Under 16

This site is intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Do Not Track Signals

California Business and Professions Code Section 22575 requires disclosure of how we respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not track visitors across third-party websites, so Do Not Track signals have no additional effect on your experience here beyond what is already described in this policy.

Changes to This Policy

If this site adds features that change how data is collected or used, this policy will be updated before those features go live. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes that affect California residents will also include a notice on the site homepage for 30 days following the update.
